November 4, 2011 -- Congratulations to the Symphony
Orchestra for earning a two year PREMIERE STATUS
partnership with the
LA Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Mentorship Program. As one of the four top youth orchestras in the Greater Los
Angeles area, premiere status will will provide us with free
coaching sessions from the LA Philharmonic musicians and other
teaching artists. We will also be partnered with a composer
from the LA Phil Composer Fellowship Program, receive concert
tickets to performances, have an opportunity to attend an LA Phil
rehearsal, and an invitation to perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall
during either the Spring of 2012 or 2013.
